I owned and operated a multimillion dollar business. Throughout my business career, I dealt with many people across the nation. This experience brought many challenges including collecting payments from debtors. My investment was for one year. I received a fair rate of return on my investment. They paid the note in full with interest.
My money was secured by a first mortgage. I never felt that my money was at risk, unlike other investments that I’ve made without a security to protect my interest. My money was safe because my investment was in a tangible piece of real estate that I could sell and recoup my monies if need be.
